
- Bicycles don't have turn signals, but there are a series of hand gestures that riders use to let you know what they'll be doing. Keep an eye out for those alerts.
- If you have to pass a bicycle, leave about 4 feet of space in between you and their bike.
- Take a few extra looks at stop signs. A bicyclist should stop as well, but children often ride right through these areas without paying close attention.
