At some point during vehicle ownership, replacing a flat tire becomes necessary. While being inconvenient, the task is not difficult. Ensure that the vehicle has an appropriate spare tire, a jack, and a lug wrench. Pull to the side of the road and initiate the warning lights. Position a reflective warning signal behind the vehicle if available.
Use the lug wrench to loosen and remove the nuts on the affected tire. Place the jack under the vehicle in the manufacturer's recommended location. Lift the vehicle enough to remove the tire. Put the spare onto the vehicle making sure the tire is in the correct position. Screw on the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle and tighten the nuts using the wrench.
Replace the wrench and jack in their storage places along with the warning signal. Put the flat tire in the rear of the vehicle. Travel to our service center here at Cutter Mitsubishi-Aiea in Aiea, HI to repair or replace the tire.
